D. William Hook II
Investment Consultant
Bill helps individuals and families create a vibrant life through wealth management and strategic planning for retirement. His clients include corporate executives, professionals, business owners, and other affluent clients who seek advice about their investment portfolios, estate plans, cash flow, and retirement planning so they can make smart decisions about their money.
His flexible approach to recommendations and services provides for a high degree of customization to meet investors’ needs. We do not recommend proprietary products, and can be compensated on a fee basis for advice and portfolio management responsibilities. We also offer traditional brokerage services using a variety of different compensation structures, depending on what is most suitable for our client’s needs and circumstances.
Education and Experience
Bill is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance. Bill’s experience spans nearly 37 years in the securities industry, serving both corporate and individual clients. He has worked on Wall Street as well as with a number of major NYSE brokerage firms.
Bill also tries to stay involved in public service; he currently volunteers at a White Flag shelter for the homeless. Previously, he has served on the boards of the Interfaith Community Council, the Child Development Center, Friends of the Public Library, and with the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity as a volunteer purchasing agent.
For relaxation, Bill enjoys playing Bridge, canoeing and fly-fishing on the many small streams and lakes found close to his home. Of course, his biggest joy is simply spending time with Carolyn, his wife of 48 years.
